Ensuring Safe and Reliable Updates with Qualys TruRisk™ Manifest Version Control

This document argues that resilience must complement speed in cybersecurity update delivery and presents how the Qualys TruRisk Platform implements this through Manifest Version Control, progressive rollouts (canaries/waves), telemetry gates, self-healing Cloud Agents, Agent Version Control, and Custom Assessment and Remediation. It outlines operational controls to stage, delay, or prevent updates, provide rich manifest insights, and maintain consistency across diverse environments, enabling organizations to minimize outage risk while sustaining rapid detection velocity, auditability, and business continuity.
