HashcatRosetta: Reading the Rosetta Stone of Password Cracking

HashcatRosetta is a tool that translates and analyzes Hashcat rule files and mask files: it can explain individual rule transformations, parse hashcat --debug-mode logs to show which rules and basewords produced real candidates (by various metrics), verify .hcmask files for validity and keyspace, and statically analyze rule files to summarize their behavior. The project uses an oracle-driven verification harness that runs rules against actual hashcat engines to ensure the simulator matches real behavior, surfaced multiple opcode mismatches with common documentation, and provides a workflow to trim rule sets and improve cracking efficiency; installation and basic API/CLI usage are also documented.
