The Defenders’ Dilemma – the need to be heard by Mark Wojtasiak

This article reports survey findings that many security defenders lack time for skills development amid increasing workloads, alert fatigue, and burnout, and urges empowering defenders in technology decisions while evaluating tools by the work they create rather than features to break the “spiral of more” and support sustainable careers.
