Microsoft's June 2026 Patch Tuesday is the largest release on record, fixing 198 CVEs (32 critical, 166 important) across a wide range of Microsoft products and components; the release includes three zero-days and multiple high-severity remote code execution and elevation-of-privilege flaws, some publicly disclosed with PoCs. At least one zero-day (CVE-2026-41091, “RedSun”) has been exploited in the wild and added to CISA KEV, making rapid patching and scanning critical.
