Multiple Vulnerabilities in Rsync Could Allow for Remote Code Execution

Multiple vulnerabilities were discovered in Rsync (including CVE-2024-12084, CVE-2024-12085, CVE-2024-12086, CVE-2024-12087, CVE-2024-12088, CVE-2024-12747) that allow for remote code execution, information leakage, arbitrary client file disclosure, path traversal and symlink race conditions; exploitation could enable attackers to write files outside intended directories, leak sensitive data, escalate privileges, or execute code on affected systems.
