Deepfake CSAM lawsuit against xAI, Grok expands

A class-action lawsuit against xAI (Grok) and Stability AI (Stable Diffusion) was amended to add two additional anonymous plaintiffs who allege that family members or acquaintances used the AI models to generate and distribute nonconsensual deepfake CSAM based on real photos; the complaint accuses xAI of insufficient moderation and failing to provide generated images to law enforcement and alleges Stability AI released and rolled back model safeguards that foreseeably enabled such abuse.
