Algerian man charged with running two cybercrime marketplaces

An Algerian man known as “SPOX” was extradited from Spain and charged in the U.S. for running marketplaces (market0day.com and spoxy.us) that sold phishing kits, compromised servers, and other fraud tools; investigators attribute roughly $900,000 in cryptocurrency proceeds, about 595 phishing kits, and approximately 5,600 victims to the operation, and found hidden backdoors in kits that continued harvesting victim data.
