Authorities arrested a Canadian man suspected of administering the Kimwolf DDoS botnet (a variant of Aisuru) that infected millions of devices and conducted tens of thousands of DDoS attacks, causing outages and millions in losses; infrastructure for Kimwolf and related botnets was seized in March, but court records indicate Kimwolf activity has resurfaced.
