Attackers are exploiting AI faster than defenders can keep up, new report warns

Booz Allen's report warns that attackers have adopted AI faster than defenders, using LLMs and agentic tooling to rapidly scale reconnaissance, exploitation, and persistence (including reported mass exploitation of Citrix NetScaler via an automated framework), and recommends defenders reassess automation, risk tolerance, and tabletop planning to respond at machine speed.
