Here’s how cyber heavyweights in the US and UK are dealing with Claude Mythos

Industry reports from the Cloud Security Alliance, SANS Institute, OWASP and the UK AI Security Institute show that advanced LLMs (notably Claude Mythos) greatly accelerate vulnerability discovery and exploit development, allowing less-skilled attackers to solve expert-level CTF problems and complete multi-step attack playbooks. The analyses warn this reduces the time between disclosure and weaponization, amplifies technical debt exploitation (including firmware and legacy devices), and creates an asymmetric advantage for attackers unless defenders rapidly adopt AI-enabled defenses and update incident response, policies and supply-chain practices.
