DOJ seizes piracy sites, Italian police dismantle illegal IPTV operation

U.S. and Bulgarian authorities seized three popular piracy domains (zamunda.net, arenabg.com, zelka.org) that distributed movies, TV shows, video games and other copyrighted content, displaying seizure notices and citing millions of annual visits and significant ad revenue. Separate Italian police actions under operation “Switch off” dismantled IPTV services distributing content from major media providers, identified dozens of suspects across multiple countries, and found use of anonymization tactics, cryptocurrencies, fictitious companies and asset concealment by a transnational organized crime group.
