Found fast, fixed slow: The gap the AI clearinghouse must close

The article argues that the AI cybersecurity clearinghouse created by the executive order should do more than coordinate scanning: it must triage and validate findings, prioritize fixes for critical infrastructure, support open-source maintainers with NIST-backed guidance, treat SBOMs as foundational, measure success by fixes deployed (validation rates and time-to-patch), and embed private-sector and open-source operational workflows to avoid creating a backlog of unfixed vulnerabilities.
