Personal information of millions of AT&T customers leaked online 

AT&T disclosed that a large tranche of customer data—dating to June 2019 or earlier and reportedly containing names, emails, mailing addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, account numbers and four-digit passcodes—was posted to the dark web and publicly shared in mid‑March, affecting over 51 million people; the company is notifying victims and has reset insecure passcodes while the dataset is being analyzed and reported on by media outlets.
