Latest round of MITRE ATT&CK evaluations put cybersecurity products through rigors of ransomware 

MITRE ATT&CK’s sixth evaluation assessed 19 enterprise security products against Cl0p and LockBit ransomware and North Korean-linked macOS malware, running staged emulations to test detection and protection; results showed wide variance in vendor performance, notable high false-positive rates for some products, and general weaknesses in detecting and mitigating post-compromise ransomware activity, with macOS testing added due to evolving threats to Apple devices.
