OnSolve CodeRED, an opt-in emergency notification service operated by Crisis24, was permanently shut down after a ransomware attack damaged its legacy environment; the attacker stole and leaked user PII (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, passwords) and INC ransomware claimed responsibility. Dozens of agencies lost access for about two weeks, Crisis24 is accelerating migration to a new platform, conducting security audits and penetration testing, and has notified law enforcement while investigations continue.
