Snowflake hacker pleads guilty, faces up to 32 years in prison

U.S. prosecutors say Connor Moucka and co-conspirators compromised more than 165 Snowflake customer environments using stolen credentials, stealing billions of sensitive records (exposing data for over 100 million people) and extorting victims for payments totaling hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars; Moucka pleaded guilty to multiple charges and was linked to the cybercriminal network “The Com.”
