The ten key reforms that can close America’s cybersecurity gaps

This op-ed proposes a ten-point national cybersecurity strategy for the United States, urging prioritization of critical infrastructure; adoption of memory-safe languages and formal methods; implementation of zero trust architectures; bolstering data resilience (including cloud backups); and routine, proactive threat hunting. It advocates stronger government–private sector coordination through a central body, creation of regional resilience districts, collaborative disruption of adversaries, and the strategic use of emerging technologies like AI to enhance both defensive and offensive cyber capabilities.
