US ‘slipping’ on cybersecurity, annual Cyberspace Solarium Commission report concludes

CSC 2.0’s annual implementation report finds national cyber readiness has slipped, citing leadership gaps and cuts to cyber diplomacy, science programs, and agency resources, and recommends empowering the National Cyber Director, restoring CISA’s budget and workforce, reestablishing the State Department’s cyber bureau and the Critical Infrastructure Partnership Advisory Council, and expanding and retaining a diverse federal cyber workforce.
