The FBI and international partners claimed to have seized ALPHV/BlackCat ransomware infrastructure and published a decryption tool for hundreds of victims, but the gang shortly after asserted it had regained control and removed rules restricting attacks on critical infrastructure; ALPHV is a prolific RaaS operator with over 1,000 victims that steals data before encrypting and publicly leaks it for extortion.
