Four Delaware men charged in international sextortion scheme that netted nearly $2 million

Four men in Delaware were arrested or surrendered on charges of running an international sextortion and money-laundering scheme that targeted thousands of victims across the U.S., U.K., and Canada by posing as young females online to coerce explicit video and then extort victims; prosecutors say roughly $1.9M was successfully extorted and about $6.9M was attempted, and related arrests in Delaware and Cote d’Ivoire are connected to the same conspiracy.
