European authorities crack down on illegal streaming networks

Europol-led Operation Kratos 2 targeted organized illegal streaming networks across Europe, resulting in 29 arrests, the takedown of over 27,000 illegal streaming URLs, disruption of nine organized crime groups, identification of 169 piracy domains and nearly 850,000 infringing media items, and the discovery of thousands of domains and IPs linked to piracy; the action involved searches, case referrals to courts, and coordination with anti-piracy industry partners.
