Iranian hackers launching disruptive attacks at U.S. energy, water targets, feds warn

U.S. government agencies issued an urgent joint alert that Iranian-affiliated APT actors are exploiting internet-facing OT devices (including Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs) to disrupt operations and manipulate HMI/SCADA displays across multiple U.S. critical infrastructure sectors, with past related incidents including a compromised Pennsylvania water facility and other claimed victims.
