Research reveals vulnerabilities in routers that left 700,000-plus exposed

ForeScout disclosed 14 vulnerabilities in DrayTek routers (one CVSS 10, another 9.1) potentially impacting up to 785,000 devices — ~704,000 with web interfaces exposed — and warned they could be used for espionage, data exfiltration, ransomware, or DoS; researchers urged rapid patching, especially since 75% of affected devices are in commercial settings and similar DrayTek flaws have been exploited by threat actors.
