Robot Character Analysis Reveals Trust Issues

McAfee ATR analyzed the temi personal robot and found exploitable flaws that let an attacker intercept incoming calls intended for the device and remotely control its navigation, camera, and microphone using only a caller's phone number. The team produced technical findings and proof-of-concept exploits, responsibly disclosed the issues to temi, and validated that the vendor deployed effective mitigations to address the vulnerabilities.
