McAfee ATR Launches Education-Inspired Capture the Flag Contest!

McAfee’s Advanced Threat Research (ATR) team is opening its annual Capture the Flag (CTF) to the public from Feb 5 to Feb 18 (PST), featuring real‑world challenges worth 100–500 points across reverse engineering, exploitation, web, hacking tools, crypto, RF, mobile, and hardware; participants submit flags in the ATR[flag] format, may compete solo or in teams, can use optional point‑deducting hints, and must follow rules prohibiting cross‑team sharing, platform brute forcing, sabotage, and DoS; the top five teams receive an ATR challenge coin, and support is limited to infrastructure issues via [email protected].
