An Overall Philosophy on the Use of Critical Threat Intelligence

This report advocates for a comprehensive Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) doctrine that integrates large-scale threat data, geospatial correlation, and human analysis to achieve proactive defense and situational awareness, aiming to keep organizations “left of boom.” It presents McAfee’s Advanced Programs Group (APG) and its three pillars—ATLAS threat landscape mapping, experienced analysts, and custom solution development—as the means to deliver dynamic threat intelligence and support intelligence-driven decision-making.
