McAfee Labs describes 'Weedhack' — an active, large-scale Malware-as-a-Service targeting Minecraft users that spreads via YouTube and SEO poisoning, delivers malicious JARs, and provides a clear‑net dashboard for customers; the campaign performs credential and crypto-wallet theft, remote desktop/webcam access, keylogging and persistence, leverages Ethereum-based C2 discovery and strong obfuscation, and has accumulated over 116,000 hits with numerous IoCs and URLs listed.
