How Juneau’s Water Utility Closed Its OT Blind Spots

Juneau’s small water and wastewater utility experienced a near-miss after a supply-chain incident involving a remote access tool and discovered widespread use of default passwords; lacking OT security resources, the utility adopted MFA, asset/communication visibility via the Dragos Platform, network segmentation, and Dragos EmberAI to improve situational awareness and resilience, and enrolled in Dragos’s Community Defense Program for permanent access to OT security tools and training.
