Network Perception Acquisition Strengthens Industrial Cyber Defense with Network Segmentation & Access Analysis

Dragos has acquired Network Perception and its NP-View network visualization platform to enhance operational technology (OT) security by modeling and analyzing firewall policies, router/switch access paths, and network segmentation. The integration aims to provide continuous topology mapping, validate segmentation, support regulatory compliance (NERC‑CIP, TSA, IEC 62443), and strengthen Dragos’s adherence to SANS ICS 5 Critical Controls, while NP-View will continue to be available as standalone software.
