Dragos Teams with Industry Veterans to Establish New Industrial Reference Architecture

The Converged Industrial Edge is a DOE-supported, multi-vendor reference architecture designed to safely converge IT and OT for utilities and other industrial environments by combining an SDN-based forwarding plane, a Kubernetes-based management/control plane, and a Dragos-driven cybersecurity plane. The architecture emphasizes trusted communications, data and resource management, automated security orchestration, and dynamic enforcement of security policies to improve visibility, resilience, and secure adoption of edge modernization without disrupting mission-critical OT applications.
