Time To Bash on Windows (Bourne Again Shell That Is)

This post demonstrates a proof-of-concept workflow using Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) to run Linux tooling (SET and Metasploit) on Windows to generate and deliver PowerShell-based macro payloads via phishing. It documents setup steps, the PSPayload macro-generation process, sending the malicious Excel attachment through SET, and highlights limitations in WSL (notably networking and Metasploit issues) that currently constrain operational use.
