This guide describes four places logs can silently fail before reaching Azure Sentinel—(1) sources going silent, (2) the ingestion pipeline dropping data, (3) data landing in the wrong table, and (4) excessive ingestion latency—and provides Kusto queries, diagnostic advice, and operational steps (enable DCR error logging, build baselines, alert on missing data, and notify humans) to detect and remediate these failures.
