ShinyHunters claims the hack of the European Commission

ShinyHunters claims to have breached the European Commission and posted more than 350 GB of allegedly stolen data (including mail servers, databases and confidential documents) to a Tor leak site; the Commission detected and contained an attack affecting cloud infrastructure for europa.eu, says internal systems were not impacted, and is investigating and notifying potentially affected EU entities while the attack vector remains unknown.
