Slovakia’s National Security Authority (NBÚ) warned that several models of networked road speed cameras (NERO R-ONE, Cordon-series) present significant cybersecurity risks — including undocumented communication settings, software/firmware provenance uncertainty, pre-configured remote-access and weak protections — which could expose vehicle data, enable remote access, or provide attackers a foothold into public networks; the Interior Ministry removed pilot units and asked suppliers for compliant replacements.
