Ariomex, Iran-based crypto exchange, suffers data leak

Ariomex, an Iran-based cryptocurrency exchange, suffered a data leak exposing roughly 11,826 user and transaction records from 2022–2025 (about 7,710 tied to Iranian IPs). The exposed dataset includes personal identifiers, emails, IP addresses, transaction histories with multi-million‑dollar transfers and evidence of missing or altered KYC; Resecurity attributes the breach to a likely compromised helpdesk and reports the database is circulating on the dark web, raising risks of fraud, sanctions evasion, and targeted criminal activity.
