Itron disclosed that an unauthorized third party accessed parts of its internal IT environment on April 13, 2026; the company activated its incident response plan, engaged external cybersecurity advisors, notified law enforcement, remediated the activity, and reported no unauthorized access to customer-hosted systems or ongoing malicious activity.
