U.S. CISA adds Microsoft SharePoint and Check Point SmartConsole flaws to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog

CISA added two critical, actively exploited vulnerabilities—Check Point SmartConsole (CVE-2026-16232) and Microsoft SharePoint (CVE-2026-50522)—to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog; the report describes successful exploitation, identified attacker IP IoCs, affected products and versions, proof-of-concept availability, and remediation guidance (patching and rotating exposed machine keys), with federal agencies ordered to remediate by July 25, 2026.
