Global law enforcement operation takes First VPN offline

Europol and international partners dismantled 'First VPN' in a coordinated action (19–20 May), seizing 33 servers across 27 countries, arresting the administrator, and taking domains and onion sites offline; investigators gained access to user records and shared intelligence on hundreds of accounts, generating leads linked to ransomware, fraud, and data theft and demonstrating how privacy services can be abused by cybercriminals.
