Sharing, Compared Part 3: How Can We Improve?

Part 3 of the CTI Networking Report 2024 analyzes challenges and opportunities in CTI information sharing: respondents report growing legal and policy restrictions, time constraints, and a lack of measurement, yet continue to invest 1-10 hours weekly and are seeing higher leadership awareness. The study finds most teams disseminate intelligence across multiple formats (files, unstructured text, CSVs; lower adoption of CTI-specific standards like STIX/MISP), have only partial processes for collection, and should integrate networking activities into existing CTI frameworks, align with regulatory updates, and improve reporting to demonstrate impact.
