Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Others Unite Under New Anti-Scam Pact

Major technology companies — including Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon and others — have endorsed a voluntary Online Services Accord Against Scams to improve cross-platform coordination: sharing threat intelligence, exchanging best practices, deploying defensive tools (including AI), and tightening transaction verification and reporting. The pact formalizes previously ad-hoc information sharing but carries no penalties for noncompliance, so its effectiveness will depend on follow-through and visible product or operational changes.
