Patch Now: Chrome Flaw Under Active Attack, Google Confirms

Google issued an urgent Chrome security update to fix multiple memory-safety flaws, notably CVE-2026-5281 — a use-after-free in the WebGPU/Dawn layer that is actively exploited in the wild and can lead to arbitrary code execution and possible sandbox escapes.
