Cyberattack on Three UK Airports Exposes Data of 8.7 Million Customers

A data breach at Manchester Airports Group exposed personal information for roughly 8.7 million customers across Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports after attackers accessed systems and stole email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registration numbers and postcodes; MAG says it contained the intrusion, that no payment data or aviation operations were affected, and that it refused a ransom demand. The report warns customers to be vigilant for phishing and fraudulent messages referencing parking, flights, refunds or payments.
