Rollbar hack (Incident)

Rollbar discovered a security breach on September 6 after logs showed a service account was used to access its cloud-based bug monitoring platform; attackers had access from August 9–11, 2023. During the intrusion they searched the data warehouse for cloud credentials and Bitcoin wallets and exfiltrated sensitive customer information including usernames, email addresses, account and project details, and Rollbar project access tokens that could be abused to interact with customer projects.
