Byte Federal, the largest US Bitcoin ATM operator, suffered a November 2024 data breach after attackers exploited a GitLab vulnerability to access servers and expose sensitive personal data for approximately 58,000 customers (names, DOBs, addresses, government IDs, SSNs).
