On February 21, 2025 Safe{Wallet} suffered a state‑sponsored supply‑chain/cloud compromise attributed to TraderTraitor (UNC4899). The adversary compromised a developer laptop, hijacked AWS session tokens, bypassed MFA, and used cloud access to manipulate transactions while attempting to remove forensic traces; smart contracts were reportedly not directly altered.
