NSA Publishes New Guidelines for Implementing a Zero Trust Security Model 

The NSA released the Zero Trust Implementation Primer and Discovery Phase guidelines, offering modular, practical recommendations to help organizations begin Zero Trust adoption. The guidance focuses on establishing foundational visibility—cataloging data, applications, assets, services, and mapping access/authorization—to inform prioritization and planning. Aligned with the DoD CIO Zero Trust Framework, these foundational documents prepare organizations for more advanced Phase 1 and Phase 2 implementations.
