Five Eyes Agencies Warn AI Is Accelerating Cyber Threats and Zero-Day Exploitation

Five Eyes cyber agencies issued a joint warning that rapid advances in AI are accelerating the speed, scale, and sophistication of cyber threats — including automated reconnaissance, vulnerability discovery, and increased zero-day risk — and urged organizations to accelerate patching, reduce attack surfaces, strengthen identity and access controls, and prepare incident response capabilities while responsibly integrating AI into defenses.
