Windows BitLocker 0-Day Flaw Enables Security Feature Bypass Attacks

Microsoft disclosed CVE-2026-50507, a BitLocker zero-day vulnerability (Missing Authentication for Critical Function, CWE-306) with a CVSS v3.1 score of 6.8; the flaw can enable bypass of BitLocker protections under conditions requiring physical access, a proof-of-concept exists, and organizations are advised to implement physical security mitigations and monitor for patches.
