Electronic Arts Blocks 300,000 Cheating Attempts After Battlefield 6 Beta Launch

Electronic Arts’ SPEAR Anti-Cheat team reports that its Javelin system blocked over 330,000 cheating attempts during the Battlefield 6 Open Beta, leveraging Secure Boot, telemetry, and community reports to harden detection and enforce actions like hardware ID bans, while iteratively adapting to kernel-level and network-based cheating and aiming to reduce false positives as the beta expands.
