Gamers Beware! New Attack Targets Gamers to Deploy AgeoStealer Malware

AgeoStealer is a sophisticated infostealer campaign documented by Flashpoint that targets gaming communities via socially engineered invites to beta-test games; it delivers a multi-stage payload (passworded archives, a spoofed NSIS installer, and an Electron app with obfuscated JavaScript), performs sandbox/VM and debugger detection, harvests browser credentials, cookies, session tokens and wallet data, compresses thefts and exfiltrates them to GoFile.io, and uses persistence mechanisms and runtime deobfuscation to evade detection.
